The shock announcement
On 29th June 2009 Aston Martin released a single image of a full size clay model. It showed a small city car with a distinctive, but large, grill, and a full width front spoiler. In the accompanying release it was disclosed that it was based on the Toyota iQ, and that although it would retain the iQ’s engine and running gear it would feature Aston’s own bespoke interior.

Dudmaston Run
On Sunday 26 April 2026, the Classic and Sports section of the Midland Automobile Club (MAC) organised a classic car run heading to the stunning Dudmaston Estate in Quatt, near Bridgnorth, South Shropshire from The March Hare Inn at Broughton Hackett, Worcestershire. Taking LP62ZFM on a follow up to the 2026 Classic Tour, rally route instructions were provided in a 'tulip' style road book, which were accurate and gave a route through some beautiful scenery.
